Autopatrol given
[edit]
Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically marked as "reviewed". This has no effect on your editing, it is simply intended to make it easier for users that are monitoring Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones like yours. In addition, the Flickr upload feature and an increased number of batch-uploads in UploadWizard, uploading of freely licensed MP3 files, overwriting files uploaded by others and an increased limit for page renames per minute are now available to you. Thank you. Abzeronow (talk) 03:42, 7 December 2025 (UTC)
Inappropriate comment in DR
[edit]Please don't make unconstructive edits like this. If you have a legitimate keep or delete vote, great, but weird religious comments will have you at Com:AN. Geoffroi 01:03, 13 December 2025 (UTC)

Please, can you provide the specific link that you used to obtain this "higher resolution" image?
[edit]Phillipedison1891 here, [1] you overwrote a "higher resolution" version of this same image here: File:Paula Modersohn-Becker - Kopf eines Mädchens - 1949-0017 - Kunsthaus Zürich.jpg
I visited the current source links on the file page, but that website's availble image was at a different (lower) resolution.
- Please, can you provide the specific link that you used to obtain this "higher resolution" image?
Thank you, -- Ooligan (talk) 21:09, 30 January 2026 (UTC)
- It's available directly on the museum's website. Phillipedison1891 (talk) 04:39, 31 January 2026 (UTC)
- I see it is the second link on the file page. Thank you for that link. -- Ooligan (talk) 08:58, 31 January 2026 (UTC)

[edit]Following your remark, I changed the origin of the photograph. It is 19th C. and unknown origin. Andries Van den Abeele (talk) 14:01, 25 April 2026 (UTC)
- @Andries Van den Abeele: Please add more details about the book or other source you got this photo from. If you can't remember, add as many details as you can remember. Thanks, Phillipedison1891 (talk) 16:54, 25 April 2026 (UTC)
- The picture is an independent photograph, of which I have an original in my private collection. It does not mention the origin or the photographer: it is 19th C. production! Andries Van den Abeele (talk) 12:20, 1 May 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you; the file is no longer marked for deletion. Phillipedison1891 (talk) 13:56, 1 May 2026 (UTC)

Congratulations, dear license reviewer
[edit]
license+ and license-.Hi Phillipedison1891, thanks for your request for license reviewer status. The request has been closed as successful, and you've been added to the list of reviewers. You can now start reviewing files – please see Commons:License review and Commons:Flickr files if you haven't done so already. We also have a guide how to detect copyright violations. Potential backlogs include Flickr review and files from other sources. You can enable the LicenseReview gadget from Preferences.
Important: You should not review your own uploads, nor those of anyone closely related to you!
Please feel free to join us on IRC: #wikimedia-commons webchat on irc.libera.chat. You can also add {{User license reviewer}} to your user page if you wish. Thank you for your contributions on Commons!--modern_primat ඞඞඞ ----TALK 13:07, 3 May 2026 (UTC)
Contributions of Reed Herbarium
[edit]I can’t find a scan of this series generally; I think the series title was not much used, and so the individual entry titles predominate. I based my claim on searches through the Catalogue of Copyright Entries and the modern interface. Smithsonian only lists nine items under the series title, and that includes later publication going into the 1980s. TE(æ)A,ea. (talk) 13:20, 23 May 2026 (UTC)
