Thank you in advance, Péter Adamát Adamatpeter (talk) 16:28, 2 May 2026 (UTC)
- @Adamatpeter: Hi there. These are AI-generated images, yes? Commons would consider AI-generated illustrations of your novels to be personal images, and this site is not a free web hosting services. Belbury (talk) 16:32, 2 May 2026 (UTC)
- The images are AI generated. The National Library already preserved them at lower pixel rate. Adamatpeter (talk) 16:35, 2 May 2026 (UTC)
- @Adamatpeter: Sorry, but Commons doesn't want to preserve dozens of pictures that an AI generated for you. Belbury (talk) 05:46, 3 May 2026 (UTC)
- Noted. The novels got like 16 000 views in 3 years, but I found other sites to publish the images. Adamatpeter (talk) 05:53, 3 May 2026 (UTC)

- Hello Ruslan - you need to forward this information to VRT - and it appears from the status of the image that you have already done so, so the status of the image should be updated shortly. --Askeuhd (talk) 20:01, 3 May 2026 (UTC)
File tagging File:LED strip Amazon review.jpg
[edit]This media may be deleted.
|
Thanks for uploading File:LED strip Amazon review.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). Warning: unless the permission information is given, the file may be deleted after seven days. Thank you. |
shizhao (talk) 12:39, 4 May 2026 (UTC)
- @Shizhao: Hi, what's the exact issue here? The source given is that it's a Flickr user's own screenshot of an Amazon store review that they wrote, including a photo that (presumably) they took of their own balcony. Belbury (talk) 12:43, 4 May 2026 (UTC)
- Sorry, Reverted shizhao (talk) 13:18, 4 May 2026 (UTC)
1337 Europe map
[edit]This is a custom-made educational map created to illustrate the 1337 starting date of the video game "Europa Universalis V" (Project Caesar), which has already been released. Why my file was deleted? Szeppi (talk) 17:29, 10 May 2026 (UTC)
- @Szeppi: Hi, you said in the file description that it was AI-generated, which means that it was classed as a personal image rather than a usable map of Europe in 1337. Belbury (talk) 17:48, 10 May 2026 (UTC)
- Yes, it was generated by AI but this map is useful beacuse i want to use it as a describtion of map in EUV. Beacuse i cant use in polish wikipedia eu5 logo, so i thought that i could use map as a look for political situation in this period of time Szeppi (talk) 19:13, 16 May 2026 (UTC)
Copyvios from Yehoshua667
[edit]Hello, notifying you that since your notice on their talk page six months ago, user Yehoshua667 has continued to upload copyvios. Funcrunch (talk) 22:16, 10 May 2026 (UTC)
- @Funcrunch: Thanks, I've raised at Commons:Administrators' noticeboard/Vandalism#Yehoshua667. For future reference anyone can report persistent copyvio cases there. Belbury (talk) 08:18, 11 May 2026 (UTC)
Hi. When you are constructing a mass deletion request subpage like the subject, please make it a stub or create it fully before editing the file pages to avoid Category:Incomplete deletion requests - missing subpage and redlinks on the file pages; If it is a stub, you can fill in the filenames and transclude later. This goes for all pages, not just file pages. See also Commons:Deletion requests/Mass deletion request. — 🇺🇦Jeff G. ツ please ping or talk to me🇺🇦 14:01, 27 May 2026 (UTC)
- Would that have made a difference in this case, where I'd just failed to close a bracket in the deletion reason? I'm just using Help:VisualFileChange.js, which populated the same mistake across all the pages. Belbury (talk) 14:10, 27 May 2026 (UTC)
