Reason for the nomination:

This works to ensure that the work does not have a US copyright, but it does not deal with copyrights from other countries -- particularly PMA 70 or 100. We have agreed that {{PD-old-assumed}} deals with author unknown cases -- we should be using that. I raise this because I am looking at a DR for a French work from 1922 with an unknown author which could well still have its French copyright for another ten or 15 years. For example, a painter creates it at age 30 and lives to be 80, therefore born in 1892 and died in 1972. The work would be under copyright for another 15 years
